Helper Share in Soda Kiln
HELPER SHARE (FULL for June 2024 firing)
June: Loading
Friday 9am-12pm Morning, June 14th - Loading Day!
Thursday 3:30pm-5:30pm evening June 20th - Unloading Day
Participants who commit to help with loading/ cleaning or unloading/ cleaning will get one share in the kiln as a bonus for the extra investment. This is something new we are trying. Helper shares will be offered on a first-come, first-offered basis. If you are interested please fill out this form.
Each kiln load will have four helper shares. Each person who wants to help with the loading or unloading will be offered one share for helping with one of these. Each person may only receive 2 helper shares max. If you receive two helper shares you need to help with the loading and unloading processes.
Helpers will receive guidance as we unload the kiln. Experience is not necessary. It is requested that helpers be timely, attentive of the artwork, and thorough in their participation. This is a fun way to learn more and be part of the interworkings of the process. You need to be able to move heavy kiln shelves, carry multiple fagile items in an efficient manner, and be careful while doing so.
